One vial (50 ml of solution) contains 0.3 g of methylene blue. This amount is calculated for use in an aquarium with a volume of water of 100 liters, that is, 5 ml of this solution for every 10 liters of aquarium water. As a measuring container, you can use a vial cap that holds approximately 5 ml of solution. A certain amount of air conditioning, calculated on the entire volume of water in the aquarium, diluted with fresh distilled water in a glass container with a capacity of 200-250 ml. Then this solution is gradually, in equal portions, in three steps at intervals of 20-30 minutes, poured into the aquarium, while gently mixing the water. For faster and more uniform mixing, it is convenient to use an aeration unit. Pour into the aquarium at once the entire solution is unacceptable. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated a week later, replacing 1/3 of the volume of water in the aquarium beforehand. The process of healing the aquarium environment can take up to one month. It should be borne in mind that methylene blue completely suppresses nitrification, which is carried out in the aquarium with useful nitrifying bacteria. Therefore, for the period of treatment from the aquarium it is necessary to remove the biofilter. To release water from the bright blue color at the end of treatment, an activated carbon filter is used. It is possible to condition the water in aquariums without removing fish from them, but care should be taken to use conditioner in aquariums that contain invertebrates. ATTENTION! Use air conditioners only for their intended purpose, in strict accordance with the instructions. Keep them out of the reach of children in a dark, cool place, away from food. Do not smoke or eat while working with air conditioners. If the conditioner gets on the skin, wash it with running water. Air conditioners retain their properties after freezing-defrosting. At low temperatures, precipitation may occur. To dissolve the sediment, heat the conditioner to room temperature before use and shake vigorously.
Conditioner "Methylene blue" - a solution of methylene blue - a synthetic dye of blue. The “Methylene Blue” air conditioner is designed to create and maintain a safe, healthy environment in an aquarium that prevents the development of harmful microorganisms in aquarium water, including various fungi. Air conditioning is also recommended to be used for water conditioning: - in tanks in which fish are transported; - in the so-called quarantine aquariums, in which they keep fish before transplanting into a general aquarium; - in spawning grounds - to create comfortable conditions that contribute to a significant increase in the survival rate of fertilized eggs, larvae and fry.
